Pem hose 25 mm

PEM hose is a type of hose used, among other things, for above and below ground water pipes outdoors, as a suction hose and for (professional) irrigation. The hose is durable and can withstand winter outdoors.

The hose is often black with color marking for example blue for water and brown for sewage.

The size of the hose indicates firstly the outside diameter, secondly the thickness of the hose wall. Thus, a 90/8.2 mm hose has an internal diameter of 73.6 mm.

Pressure class = PN is the maximum allowable operating pressure in bar.

Pressure drop

If a pump gives 4 bar pressure, 50 liters/min and has to push it out 100 meters with a 32 mm hose, then about 1.1 bar is lost. If the hose is 40 mm instead, about 0.48 bar is lost.
Think about how much pressure you want on the tapping point, bends and couplings further reduce the pressure.
