Sampling wells

Different names for these wells are outlet well, control well and inspection well

Almost all plants require the presence of a sampling well to take quality samples and check that there is no blockage in the outgoing pipe.

The well is also used for flushing if the line is blocked.

Facilities affected include
– Wastewater treatment plants
– Soil beds
– Oil separators
– Grease traps

The law stipulates that there should be a sampling unit attached to the oil and grease separator.
