Using the Biolan Timer, the wastewater is pumped in suitable portions into the Gray Water Filter. The timer is connected between the submersible pump and the power source. The timer housing is rated IP54, i.e. it is
splash-proof.
Depending on the type of pump and the pumping distance, the pumping time is adjusted to 10-30 seconds so that about 20 liters of water reach the filter at a time and the boxes inside the filter do not overflow.
After installation, the current flow rate of the pump should be measured before timing the timer.
The pause time should be timed so that the top filter boxes have time to absorb the water that has entered during the previous run period before the next pumping period starts.
The interval between run periods should be at least 5 minutes. However, the recommended break time is 10-20 minutes
