Laying of FANN IN-DRÄN Plus modules

IN-DRÄN Plus
Works just like regular IN-DRÄN,
following the principles of nature. Ample oxygen supply in combination with a large amount of bio skin ensures the function and makes the purification process more efficient. IN-DRÄN Plus is a complete biofilter that also replaces the gravel/stone layer in an
infiltration. An IN-DRÄN mat, which is a factory-made spreader layer, is placed under the IN-DRÄN Plus so that the water can infiltrate into the ground.
The combination of IN-DRÄN modules and the associated mat means that you do not have to transport several cubic meters of gravel home, which makes the work
easier and the cost less.

1. Shaft
L = 6 m (for one household (max. 5 PE))
B = approx. 1.3 m
D = depends on distance to rock, groundwater and level of approved p-test.
Shafts must be laid across the direction of runoff with a horizontal bottom.
The pores of the shaft bottom must not be destroyed or smeared.

2. IN-DRÄN mat
The IN-DRÄN mat is rolled out on the shaft bottom.

3. the IN-DRÄN Plus modules
The IN-DRÄN Plus modules are placed in a
row on the IN-DRÄN mat along the upstream edge.

4. spreader pipes
The spreader pipes are laid with the holes facing downwards and sewn onto the modules with the enclosed sewing thread. The spreader pipe is connected to the pipe from the sludge separator.

5. venting

Spreader tube venting: 90˚ bend is placed at the end of the spreader tube and fitted with vent pipe and vent cap. Air compartment venting: Ø110 pipe (0.3 m) is placed in the air compartment at the bottom of the first module, i.e. at the opposite end to the diffuser pipe vent. The pipe is fitted with a 90˚ bend,
vent pipe and ventilation hood.

6. non-woven fabric

The modules are covered with a 2 m wide non-woven fabric.
Holes are made for the spreader pipe and
vent pipes at each end.

7. Possible frost insulation
For example, in the case of intermittent use or little ground cover, the infiltration can be frost insulated on top and on the sides. See installation video at www.fann.se

8. backfill
Use existing masses without large stones. Empty the first load on the pipe, the second and third on either side. Repeat until the entire spreading section is covered. Backfill and level the rest. Heavy loads on the plant should
be avoided!
