Matala BIOFILTER 10 packages with HS infiltration 2,4m2

Package with the very common accessory HS infiltration bed used as post-purification and infiltration after gray water filters. A requirement in many municipalities.

Matala Biofilter 10 is suitable where you have small water consumption of max 400 l / day
If you have several pipes out of the house, it can be led to the same filter or place a filter in each place.
If you want to increase the degree of purification, choose Biomodules or HS infiltration instead of stone coffin.

Also available with built-in pump.

Matala Biofilter 10 is suitable for small water consumption of max 400 l/day and 55 l/hour.
Matala Biofilter 20 and 25 are suitable where you have a slightly higher water consumption of max 750 l/day and 75 l/hour.

If you want a BDT system that can handle dishes, showers, laundry and dishwashers, you should choose models 20 or 25.

Function
The function is completely natural in that the water is purified when it slowly flows through the patented filters that break down biological nutrients with biofilm technology.
As the filters are airy in the biofilter and the water varies in level all the time, no air compressor is needed for oxygenation of the bioskin.
There is always water at the bottom of the biofilter so that the bioskin always has a good environment even during breaks in the load.

Installation
Matala Biofilter is available in three different models to suit different needs and conditions. Choose model 10, 20 or 25.
If you are only going to use the cabin during the warm season, you can place the biofilter 10 and 20 completely uninsulated on the ground.
The biofilters can withstand freezing completely without damage, however, the purification does not work if the filter is frozen.
Biofilter 25 is very good if the pipes are in the ground and you want it frost-free.

In case of problems with heights (self-fall), Matala Biofilter with built-in pump is available.

Maintenance:
Filter elements are removed and cleaned once a year by shaking them out over a compost.
No maintenance or consumption costs

Degree of purification
Matala is the original gray water filter and has the largest amount of filter material in its products on the market. It is tested under real conditions with very good results.

There is no EU standard on how to test gray water filters, so CE marking cannot be done on BDT treatment products, which are on the market.
If you want to increase the degree of purification, you add Biomodules, at the discharge point, after Matala Biofilter.
