All NIXOR NKO oil separators are designed according to the standard SS-EN 858, which means that they belong to class 1.

There is also an Ultra model that can handle 0.5 mg/l, which is 10 times better than the standard Class 1.

The oil separator is intended for the treatment of oily wastewater.

The separator is equipped with integrated sludge trap, automatic shut-off valve.

The separators are made of concrete.

Concrete can withstand most soil conditions and is self-anchoring. In many cases, backfilling of shafts can be done with existing materials, saving money and time.

Depth of embedment

Concrete can normally handle burial depths of 5-6 m.

To adjust the height of the A measure to the correct ground height, there are concrete adjustment rings, there is an additional cost for that.

A-measurement:

In order to get the correct neck height, the A-measurement, i.e. the distance between the finished ground and the water course, is determined.

If necessary, extra raising neck is ordered when the height is more than A min as shown on the drawing, ask us for advice.

Weight

The weight of the separator is with lid, the lid can be detached separately and the weight depends on the diameter of the separator and is as follows:

• 1000mm lid weighs 500kg
• 1200mm lid weighs 700kg
• 1500mm the lid weighs 1100kg
• 2000mm the lid weighs 1900kg
• 2500mm the lid weighs 2950kg
