BAGA RO-50 is a small and flexible water filter that removes contaminants by passing the water through a semi-permeable membrane, a technique called reverse osmosis.
Application The water filter is intended for filtering normal well water and other water of comparable quality. The water filter is intended for cold water, and a water pressure of 3 – 5 Bar. The water filter should not be used with water containing gravel, sand, clay, sediment, algae, oil, acid or other unusual substances. The water filter may require pre-filtration (see technical data).
BAGA RO-50 has a high purification capacity and separates salt, fluoride, uranium, arsenic, nitrite and nitrate etc.
The filter has a capacity to clean 45 liters per day. But it is of course possible to use the untreated water that remains for washing dishes etc. RO-50 requires no electricity.
The filter is intended to be placed under the sink, for example, and provides a tap with clean water.
Metal storage tank and separate tap included.
2Location Place the water filter under the sink, or in any other suitable location, ensuring that the space is wet-proofed according to current industry regulations. The water filter must be placed in a heated space with a minimum temperature of 5oC. The water filter should not be placed near a heat source, outdoors, or in a humid environment. The water filter needs access to a kitchen drain or other connection for the flushing water. Position the filter to facilitate future maintenance and service. The capacity of the water filter is affected by the incoming water pressure, therefore check the water pressure at the installation site.
Aquarent RO is connected to the kitchen’s regular cold water pipe. A shut-off valve must be fitted to enable the filter to be shut off and serviced. Ensure that the space is wet-proof, complies with current industry regulations and that the installation work is carried out by a qualified professional. Check and ensure that the water pressure never exceeds the maximum allowable working pressure of the product. Ensure that the water filter is protected against possible pressure surges. The drinking water filter is connected according to one of two installation principles, which one is most suitable depends on how the supplied faucet can be positioned. (The differences only refer to the connection of the flushing water/drain hose.) The filter is supplied with two different drain clamps that allow the connection of the hoses regardless of the installation principle. We recommend installation according to installation principle 1 when possible.
The purified water is stored in the tank provided.
