OPC-15 automatic pressure switch used to control the pump by switching it on and off. It protects the unit against dry running. It can operate in tank and tankless mode.
OPC-15 switches are advanced mechanical and electronic devices that control the operation of pumps used for irrigation, watering and powering gazebos, summer houses and single-family houses.
They are designed to control the pump by turning the device on and off. It studies changes in the pressure level in the pipeline and the flow of water through the pipeline.
The activation of the pump depends on the fall of the water pressure in the water system below the minimum pressure set on it.
Shutting down, on the other hand, depends on stopping the flow of water in the pipe on which the machine is installed.
It is equipped with 1″ suction port, 1″ discharge port, built-in check valve, built-in pressure gauge, RESTART button and signal LEDs.
The OPC-15 has an automatic restart function.
This means that after some time after a stop caused by dry running, the unit tries to restart the pump on its own. If still no water flows into the well, the unit will turn off the pump again. The cycle will be repeated several times during the day from the first shutdown.
The power supply voltage for the device is 230V 12A.
The maximum working pressure is 10 bar, the working pressure range of the pump is 1-3.5 bar.
The automatic unit can work with single-phase pumps whose current consumption during operation does not exceed 12A.
