HYDRO BRIO PRESSURE SWITCH WITH TWO CONTACTS
57,50 €
Hydro Brio regulator for pumps
- On/off pressure control
- Modern automation
- Controls pump operation and protects against dry running
Hydro Brio automatic control for managing pump operation. Its function is to control the switching on and off of the pump.
The control signal is the pressure. Below a preset pressure value the pump is switched on.
Similarly, it shuts off at the maximum pressure the pump provides.
The kit consists of the Omnigena Brio control unit, with built-in check valve, a power cable with plug and a cable with socket for connecting the pump.
The Hydro Brio regulator is a modern alternative to traditional pressure switches and hydro fort tanks.
Hydro Brio controller:
Protects against dry running,
Protects the electronics against wetting,
Informs about the operating and power supply status by means of LED indications.
Technical data for the Brio pump controller
Supply voltage ~ 90 – 260 V,
Max. current 10 A,
Protection class IP65,
Pump power range: 0.1 – 2.2 kW,
Max. flow 160 l/min,
Switching pressure regulation range 0 – 10 bar,
Max. permissible working pressure 15 bar,
Max. water temp. 80 ºC,
Max. ambient temperature 35 ºC,
Cable length with plug/socket 1.2 m / 0.6 m,
Weight 1 kg.
The HYDRO BRIO controller is an electronic device used to control the operation of a water pump.
The HYDRO BRIO is used to control the pump on and off depending on the water consumption.
The pump turns on and off automatically. The pump is switched on when the pressure drops below the set switch-on pressure and the pump is switched off when the maximum pressure produced by the pump is reached and the water flow in the hydraulic system has stopped. Such a design of the device means that in practice, after the start of water intake, the pump is turned on, and after the end of water intake, the pump is turned off after a dozen seconds.
An additional advantage of the HYDRO BRIO is the possibility of adjusting the pump’s starting pressure.
Due to its design, the use of HYDRO BRIO enables automatic operation of the pump without pressure vessels, switches, pressure gauges and connections between these elements associated with a classic installation.
The device is especially applicable when there is little space for a classic hydrophore or when the pump needs to be dismantled frequently.
Another advantage of HYDRO BRIO is that the unit stops the pump in the absence of water, i.e. protects it from running dry.
A – HYDRO BRIO unit is equipped with a check valve to prevent pressure loss in the pipeline.
B – No outlets may be installed between the pump and the HYDRO BRIO
C – HYDRO BRIO can be installed directly on the pump or between the pump and the first tapping point.
D – The pressure generated by the pump must be at least 0.6 bar higher than the start-up pressure
E – Before starting the unit, check the suction side and make sure that a check valve is installed in it and that the pump and suction line are water-filled
F – The starting pressure of the pump is factory set in HYDRO Brio to about 1.5 bar. starting pressure can be adjusted electronically by clicking on the buttons (point 1 and point 2 – fig. 3) on the control panel
G – Installing a pressure tank in the system increases its stability and the life of the pump.
H – If the water column between the pump and the highest starting point exceeds 15 m, the HYDRO BRIO cannot be installed directly on the pump. In this case, the installation location of the unit should be raised so that it is at a distance of no more than 15 m from the highest receiving point, e.g. a tap. Example: the distance to the highest placed tap and the pump is 20 m, the Brio installation above the pump must not be less than 5 m.
