Urine combined with minerals in the water forms a thick, hard layer called urine scale on the inside of sewer pipes.
Scale build-up restricts the flow of sewage, reduces vacuum capacity and can cause blockage of the pipes, especially in horizontal fittings, minerals can corrode valves and piping over a period of time.

To effectively prevent these problems, we recommend the use of Jets Descale Gel. This is accomplished by injecting the recommended dosage of Jets Descale Gel into wastewater sources or pipes as a routine treatment.
Jets Descale Gel also works on severely clogged pipes. For the removal of severe buildup, we recommend shutting off wastewater in sections and running an intensive booster program to remove the toughest.
After flushing the piping system, use Jets™ Descale Gel products regularly to permanently stop scale buildup.

There are two ways to dose Jets Descale in your system. Either directly in the toilets or automatic dosing with a dosing pump. The amount of gel used in total is the same, but different doses depending on which of the two options you chose to use.

Dosage per toilet/source:Directly into each toilet: 2cl every other day

Using a dosing pump: 1 cm every day

Boosting program: 10cl every day

By using an automatic dosing pump, it is recommended to install one at the end of each pipe branch that has toilets connected. Then you add how many toilets are connected to that specific branch and multiply it by 1cl and adjust the dosing pump setting to that number. The same procedure is used for the boosting program.
