Phosphorus traps & phosphorus precipitation

Phosphorus can be reduced in different ways:

– Mechanical phosphorus trap with e.g. Polonite after a closed soil bed. The soil bed must be enclosed with rubber sheets for it to work.

– Urine sorting, best cycle plants can take care of the phosphorus directly.

– Chemical precipitation with chemistry in the sludge separator (requires double the volume of sludge compared to normal).

Soon there will be a requirement for general sampling of sewage and then it is up to the property owner to have a functioning plant that always meets the treatment requirement, think about it when choosing a solution and brand.
