Cleaning & flushing well

A flushing well is a well device with an openable lid. Its function is to enable the flushing of sewer pipes. Sediment, sand, etc. that is flushed out of the pipes is caught in the flushing well and can be sucked up or dug up there, e.g. by a sludge suction device. The well also traps particles at other times, but not as efficiently as a clean-out well, as the latter usually has a larger diameter
