Aquatron’s UV well is the only UV technology that can safely handle water with particles, for example after a sewage treatment plant that often has sludge during malfunctions.

Aquatron’s UV unit utilizes both the water’s screw movement caused by the Meander effect and the threshold effect (all particles spin around and are illuminated on all sides several times), which means that even suspended water is fully exposed and a very good bactericidal effect is achieved.
To verify the worst case diarrhea condition, a test with diarrhea in three liters of flush water was made and the sample was taken immediately after the UV irradiation.
The analysis shows that the effect is virtually 100% bactericidal.
One advantage of the Aquatron UV unit is that the liquid never touches the UV lamp, which means that the effect does not deteriorate quickly like some other UV systems on the market.

should break. The unit is equipped with 2 UV lamps, which guarantees that full
purification is obtained even if one lamp should go out!

If you have momentary higher flows, you can reduce the flow to the UV well with an equalization well or larger pipes that act as a water reservoir before the inlet of the UV well, which is limited by a 50mm inlet.
