Function:
EkoTreat WiFi ensures that your sewage system meets the requirements for a high level of protection.
In practice, this means that the precipitant collects the phosphorus in the sludge separator, which then sinks to the bottom and is taken with the sludge when it is emptied.
To ensure good functioning and increase the lifespan of your sewage system, it is therefore important to ensure that precipitants are always available.
The unit is completely self-contained. It dispenses precipitant together with water according to a pre-set program. All you have to do is set it to the right number of people and then change the can of precipitant a few times a year.
Operation/service:
High level of protection without expensive service contracts!
FANN’s sewage systems are passive and most things take care of themselves, we have no expensive service contracts or requirements for service visits. Simply because there is nothing to operate in our sewer systems.
SLUDGE SEPARATOR
For a household of five people, with sludge emptying once a year, a total sludge separator volume of at least 4 m³ is required.
If sludge is emptied at least twice a year, a 3 m³ sludge separator can be used.
For two households, a total sludge separator volume of
6 m³ is required, with sludge emptied every year.
Buy precipitants through us – make sure it is EkoTreat precipitant you buy.
INSTALLATION
There must be a gravity flow in the sewer system from the point where the mixer is connected. The mixer should be positioned in such a way that precipitant and water do NOT remain in the mixer.
Avoid sharp bends, edges and narrowing joints at the mixer connection as these can collect precipitant which will eventually clog.
The hoses from the dosing unit to the mixer should be positioned in such a way that there is no risk of them being pinched, folded or damaged.
Use only straight bushings that do not reduce the inner diameter.
Connect the incoming water hose to the water pipe using one of the two gaskets supplied.
We recommend installing a water fuse on the incoming water line after the sanitary ball valve.
It is set to 15 L and automatically shuts off the flow if more water than that flows to the unit at one time.
The hose with lid for 15L canister is screwed to the canister with precipitant.
Turn on the water and check that there are no leaks.
The 24V Ac/Dc adapter is plugged into a power outlet and connected to the unit.
Carry out a functional test
Check again that there are no leaks.
Set the clock.
Make sure that the correct time zone is set.
Set the number of people in the household.
