Remove coatings with Jets™ Descale Gel

Jets™ Descale Gel is used to dissolve lime and urine scale in pumps and piping systems.

Descale Gel can be used for everything from preventative to tough cleaning jobs where thick deposits have built up over time.

In new systems or after the coating has disappeared, the disinfectant can Toilet Clean Plus used for daily cleaning. This prevents new build-up of urinary stones, limescale and dirt deposits.

In larger pipe systems, Descale Plus is used instead.

Jets™ Descale Gel is an environmentally friendly and effective treatment for the removal of limescale from hard water and urine, as well as sewage residues in vacuum pipes and toilet systems.
The properties of the gel provide extended working time and efficient distribution in the vacuum system lines.

This powerful product prevents the build-up of limescale in vacuum lines, wastewater tanks and other components, keeping drains clear.
Jets™ Descale Gel can also be used for spot cleaning directly on toilet bowl deposits, and can be safely used on stainless steel, acrylic plastic and good quality paint. Routine use of Jets™ Descale Gel puts an end to limescale build-up in toilet systems.

Urine reacts with minerals in the water to form a thick, hard, calcareous coating on the inside of sewer pipes. This coating builds up and slows down the wastewater, reduces the vacuum effect and eventually blocks the pipes.
Especially in horizontal sections, the aggressive salts can attack valves and pipes for a longer period of time.
To counteract these problems effectively, we recommend the use of Jets™ Descale Gel.
Use the recommended dosage of Jets™ Descale Gel as a routine treatment in toilets and pipes.

Removal of smaller deposits can be performed without closing the toilet section.
Jets™ Descale Gel works even on heavily clogged pipes. For the removal of heavy deposits, we recommend closing the toilet section and intensive extra dosing, adapted to the most difficult deposits.
After flushing the piping system, use Jets™ Descale products regularly to permanently stop the build-up of new deposits.

Dosage by adding Jets™ Descale Gel directly to the toilet
Preventive maintenance
Add 2 cl of Jets™ Descale Gel every other day to each toilet. We recommend that Jets™ Descale Gel is added when the load on the system is at its lowest. This helps to keep Jets™ Descale Gel in the system for as long as possible.

Extra dosage
Add 5 cl of Jets™ Descale Gel daily (2.5 cl in the morning and 2.5 cl in the evening). Inspect weekly to monitor progress.
If heavy deposits have formed in the piping system, it may be necessary to perform a boroscope or visual inspection to obtain more information on the degree of deposits in the toilet system.
The recommended amount of Jets™ Descale Gel is determined by vacuum pressure, water hardness, temperature, distance between dosing units and the number of toilets connected to the line.
