Vacuum tubes are a three-layer tube with an outer and inner shell in PP with a core of magnesium silicate. In addition, anchoring buoys are used to lock the joints in position to prevent the tubes from coming apart during vacuum changes.
What makes it different from a regular PP pipe is:
-Silent, thanks to the three-layer construction
-Rigid, which reduces movement and vibration
-Pressure resistant, even for negative pressure
-Anchoring buoys secure joints and make it very tight
-Low length expansion, which makes it very temperature insensitive
