The newly redesigned REDI check valve provides a simple and effective way to avoid flooding due to backflow from sewer lines.

Single flap
Most national building regulations require measures to be taken for the protection of buildings where such return flows may occur.

The valve is particularly suitable for:
– Low-lying areas near coasts and
lakes, and in valleys, especially where rainwater
collects in final trunk lines,
where return flows may occur
after heavy rainfall.
– Undersized
sewerage networks with newly constructed
or planned residential areas
connected to the existing network.
– Private sewerage systems connected
to communal sewerage networks via
pumping stations.
– Commercial and industrial
installations where the flow needs to be regulated
without pressure differentials (e.g. in fish farms),
or where PVC piping
is required (salt water).
– Stop for rodents.

– Normal flow in the forward direction
even at low pressures (0.005 bar).
– Dimensional stability and tightness
after 600 temperature cycles from
15 ºC to 75 ºC and back.
– Reliability of its backflow
prevention function after 35
cycles of varying lengths, from 5 min to 10 min and varying pressures from 0.01 bar to 0.5 bar.
– Watertightness of the valve body at pressures up to 0.5 bar.
– The connections meet the requirements of EN 1401 and EN
1329.
