TEFLON CORD UNIFLON 175 METERS

33,58

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
UNIFLON is a 100% pure PTFE thread sealing cord, very
versatile and very easy to use. Resistant to almost all
known liquids, gases and chemicals. Approved according to EN 751-3
for drinking water and gas. BAM approved for oxygen. Recommended
temperature range from -200 °C to 240 °C.

APPLICATION:
Uniflon is used for sealing threaded joints in systems with
oxygen, gas, heating, drinking water, oil and gasoline.
Uniflon is of course also well suited for sealing
threaded connections in other pipe systems, e.g. for hydraulics, compressed air,
heating and ventilation, acids, bases, solvents, etc. Uniflon is well suited for virtually all pipe materials
such as iron, metal, plastic, fibers, etc. Even very small threads can Uniflon be used on, due to the product’s
design as Teflon cord.

TECHNICAL FEATURES:
Uniflon is a dynamic sealing product that adapts during installation. It creates a perfect seal
when PTFE forms a continuous film of exactly the right thickness between the sealing surfaces.
Chemically resistant to aggressive chemicals, solvents, acids/bases and flammables. Temperature stable
from -200°C to +240°C.
– Replaces all other seals and is taped on all threads.
– Easier and faster to install than other seals.
– Economical to use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Start at the pipe end and cover the thread 10-15 mm in the thread direction in a random overlapping manner. Add
2-3 drops of installation aid directly from the separate dispenser and smear it over the thread band with
your finger.
Manufacturer’s guidelines:
½” pipe: 12 (fine seal) to 18 (coarse seal) rounds
1½” pipe: 16 (fine seal) to 24 (coarse seal) rounds
For other pipe diameters, adjust the number of rounds.

APPROVAL:
DIN-DVGW for gas and water according to
EN751-3 FRp and GRp and DIN 30660 (NV-5143BP0261).
DIN-DVGW tested and approved for pipe adjustments up to 45°.
DVGW tested and approved up to 100 bar in accordance with EN751-3 test protocol (tested at 23°C).
TZW tested and approved for hot and cold water in accordance with the recommendations of the German
Ministry of Health.
BAM tested and approved for use with gaseous oxygen at 30 bar and 100 °C (used with
mounting aid, II-2742/2004E).
BAM tested and approved with liquid oxygen 30 bar and 100 °C (used without mounting aid, II2742/2004E).
WRAS listed product for the U.K. Water Regulations Advisory Scheme for use with hot and cold
water (Ref. 0212515).
ASTM F423 Steam & Cold Water Cycle Test – passed.
UL Listed Sealing Material 19BN File MH26734 in accordance with Kontour 1321 for use in assemblies handling gasoline,
petroleum oils, naphtha, propane, butane, benzene, kerosene and natural gas (<300 psig).
