Accessories drilled well, deep water

Drilled wells, or rock drilled wells, are usually carried out using compressed air driven down-the-hole drilling that combines rotation and impact to penetrate the ground. The installation is done in two stages.

(1) In the first, a casing is drilled through the soil and into the rock. According to the standard, the casing must go at least two meters into the rock. The space between the casing and the rock is then sealed, usually by grouting the casing with cement. This is important to prevent the well from being contaminated by particles or possible contaminants in shallow groundwater.

(2) The second stage involves drilling down through the rock to fractures or other water-bearing layers. This borehole forms the well itself.
