T-coupling

PRK is a high pull-out force plastic pipe coupling that joins polyethylene pipes in a simple and safe way. Many years of experience have led to a whole system of products gathered under the term PRK.

– Rotatable even after assembly.
– Can handle hot liquids
– The PRK can be repeatedly disassembled and reassembled.
– Suitable for all polyethylene pipes on the market (PEL, PEH and PEM) and pressure PVC with special pressure screw.

Application:
On polyethylene pipes PEL, PEH and PEM, PN 6.3 and PN 10, according to SS 3362.
NOTE! For PEM pipes PN 6.3 and PE 80/100 pipes, a compensation sleeve must be used.
The pipes must be cut perpendicularly and we recommend a professional deburring tool to remove any burrs before assembly.
On PVC pipes with special pressure screw and cone.
PRK coupling with FPL pressure nut for soft and hard copper pipes and soft steel pipes. Support sleeves should always be used, except for hard copper tubes.

Max working pressure:
What applies to the pipes. (Coupling max 1.6 MPa = 16 bar) Max vacuum: 99% vacuum = 750 mm Hg

Temperature:
Max working temperature: The one applicable to the pipes

Material:
Nipples: AMETAL® or red metal (allows earthing).

Threads:
All threads are pipe threads and the nipples can therefore be used as fittings.
