Closed-loop system for one household. The phosphorus trap solution (the green tank in the picture) is chosen because it is “passive” and is an environmentally friendly alternative with a closed-loop approach. The purification works with self-fall, i.e. no parts can break. The phosphorus trap, which is the last treatment step in the plant, contains a filter material that captures the phosphorus before the treated wastewater ends up in nature. The spent filter media in the cassette can be recycled on a field, in compost or as plant soil. The replacement interval for the filter cartridge is normally every two years.

The FANN EkoTreat Wifi and EkoTreat Max Wifi phosphorus precipitation unit ensures that your sewage meets the requirements for a high level of protection. The units are adjusted according to the number of people in the household. It then takes care of itself and doses the precipitant via the property’s pipe network to the sludge separator.

All you have to do is set it to the right number of people all the time and then change the canister of precipitant a few times a year, or change the barrel of precipitant depending on the model. The unit has a built-in alarm so that you are also reminded when it is time to change the can/barrel
